this image found on www.typeworkshop.com is another example of creating typography from alternative materials. the execution of this type is good, with the setting, the layout of the letters and the double thickness of the characters adding to the effect. on researching this i also found a few interesting images.. same concept, but a simplified execution in a series of advertising images by Target. found image displaying the feeling of cheap toilet paper. www.theletter.co.uk
Its a very interesting idea, making typography from toilet paper and although I like the ideas I feel they could have been executed in a better way. The photography in the top image in particular could be a little sharper. However, I think the bottom image is a simple and brilliant image that communicates instantly.
